Mediums must not have an agenda with Spirit, a rote way of phrasing, or organizing information to which Spirit must conform. I feel we must be as natural and compassionate as possible.
Always begin taking a stand by observing yourself, and as soon you intend to work with Spirit, soften your focus. Allow your awareness to be open to how the spirit communicator wants to be presented to their recipient.
Become saturated with Spirit’s soul until they are tangible by your clairs. Relate to Spirit as they truly are, and speak to their recipient using their emotional expression.
It may feel like your imagination, but this blending is often accompanied by a feeling of chills, tingling, their presence, or whatever “calling card” Spirit chooses to use with you as a medium.
The quality of the experience for the recipient is down to you; so always be compassionate. Always keep in mind that mediumship is a service for Spirit and the recipient, and it is not the “You the Medium” show.
With each link, allow the relationship that builds up between you and your spirit communicator to be foremost in your attention. At times, the recipient may persuade you to change your understanding of what is in your awareness by saying “No” or “I don’t know” or even “I have no clue who this is!”
Keep your ego out of the communication and keep each communication free of negotiations. If your recipient says, “Yes, I understand this man but he was not my father…” do not immediately say, “He was like a father to you” in response as you think you have to qualify that statement.
With each negative response, look immediately or feel at that moment Spirit’s response to the “No.” It may be very subtle, but there will be a response that your recipient will understand.
If you continue to hear “No, no, no,” the recipient’s ego may have a built a wall around this spirit person, or may simply not be aware of them, or they may even be there for someone your recipient knows. I prefer not to give messages to people not present in the room, so in that case, I would bid Spirit farewell.
However, if you are certain of who you have is for the recipient, continue with them by exploring other avenues of information. In the end, if the recipient absolutely cannot accept the spirit communicator, silently ask the Spirit person to find another time to get their message through.
Ask your recipient to keep this person in mind because after they leave, they may become enlightened as to their identity in the days or weeks to come.
Compassionate mediumship means caring for the sacred communication between souls. It is key to keep your linking experience elevated. Care about giving what you receive with the same emotion, as it comes from a place of love.
This is exactly what your recipient needs to hear right now.
