Over and over, psychics get the same questions from clients relating to relationships: be it love, family, finances, work, school...our relationship to the nitty-gritty aspects of life continuously fascinate us.
A common question is “What is my reason for living?” To me, it’s simple.
We live to be happy. When we do what makes us happy, time flies. We notice that others around us are happy, too.
That’s why when I recently read about “ikigai” (the Japanese word for one’s reason for being) I immediately thought of mediumship.
Mediumship gets me excited about getting out of bed in the morning. I don’t have to practice mediumship every day in order to feel happy…knowing that I’m open to spiritual communication makes me happy, and knowing that when do I practice spirit communication with a friend I serve both Spirit and the recipient of their message.
Mediumship represents all my vital needs rolled into one practice. It keeps me active, it fuels my spirituality, it keeps me connected with all kinds of people, all over the world. I know that mediumship is what the world needs.
Do what makes you happy and serve others. One’s service to the world not only makes each individual happy, it sends peaceful ripples out into the universe for all to enjoy.
