Class of '75.

One constant in my creative life is the urge to draw faces of people I do not know.

When this first happened, I didn’t know that I was connecting with Spirit; in fact, at times in school when I was idly sketching, someone might tell me that the drawing resembled someone they knew. What a strange coincidence! They’d say, and I would agree.

Now that I realize that I’m being impressed to draw recognizable people who have left their physical bodies (albeit rendered in my own untrained style). I hope to get more information about them to add to the background of the portrait. I like to get at least enough for a bell to start ringing, so to speak.

The young woman above was a friend to the recipient. I was strongly impressed with this woman, a North American student, to add the number “75” as that had significance to her life. I felt it was her high school graduation year so I dubbed this portrait “Class of ‘75.”

I hope someone, someday may recognize her spirit...school related or otherwise!
